Fractured Space, an exhibition featuring the artwork of Carolyn Nicita,
explores the mathematics behind the patterns shared by the vast diversity in life and
the universe. This collection, curated by Samir Chala, Founder of Gallery Without
Borders & Kin Agency for the Arts, will be featured at Gallery Without Borders from
May 7th through May 31st, 2011.
Carolyn Nicita is a digital fractal artist and an internationally
published science fiction writer who grew up in San Diego. Her art is created using
the same mathematical functions and algorithms that are found in nature producing
unique images that are at evocative of natural materials and organic life.
